Consultancy Services Terms and Conditions
Pricing – Octave OC reserve the right to adjust the price of its products and services which are subject to amendment at any time.
Research and Preliminary work – Any background research and preliminary work undertaken by us shall be quoted for and agreed with the client in advance. Clients will then be invoiced for the agreed amount.
Approval – Clients will be given final approval / sign off authorisation for all service plans and documents. Customers and clients are responsible for ensuring final document proofs are free from error. We shall incur no liability for incorrect information contained within services and documents that have been signed off by the client.
Delivery – Following agreement on a service or product proposal, Octave OC will agree all reasonable delivery times with the customer or client. Fast-track press releases are subject to additional charges which shall be agreed in advance with the customer or client.
Payment - Terms of Payment are strictly within 28 days of receipt of invoice unless stated otherwise on the invoice. Octave OC reserves the right to delay product, service or campaign delivery if payment or part-payment has not been received. news release product or service customers must pay the total agreed cost in full following receipt of an invoice. Please note that Octave OC reserve the right to delay or suspend the issuing of news releases until payment has been received and cleared. For paid search services, Octave OC will not commence any work until the deposit or initial agreed payment has been received in full. We also reserve the right to suspend paid search campaigns until all outstanding fees and service charges have been paid.
Payment Methods – Acceptable payment methods include Card Payments, PayPal and Cheque. Please note that customers paying by cheque should allow 10 working days for posting and bank processing. We shall only complete work once the cheque has cleared.
Non-Payment of Invoices – Octave OC reserve the right not to proceed with any products, services or campaigns in the event of non-payment by the customer or client. We also reserve the right to charge for any agreed services carried out by Octave OC or its third party suppliers and / or products purchased by us.
Termination of Services – Octave OC shall be entitled to terminate services, if: -
(a) The client make any voluntary agreement with its creditors or becomes bankrupt or becomes subject to an administration order or goes into liquidation
(b) The client is in breach of any of the Conditions determined at Octave OC’s sole discretion.
General – Octave OC do not guarantee exact news coverage for campaigns or services. Please note that news release content is used at the discretion of journalists and media titles and we have no power to compel media titles to print news release material. Octave OC reserve the right to decline work from any individual, business, organisation or company. We also reserve the right to refuse requests to undertake actions or work that we judge to be unprofessional, ineffective or unethical.
